The premises on the corner of Milk Street and Water Street that are now Hyde Deco were once the Nags Head. The Nags Head was opened around 1859 by Charlotte Pangburn. In the early 1900s it acquired a reputation as a disorderly house where gambling took place and it lost its licence in 1906 - See http://hydonian.blogspot.co.uk/2011/08/nags-head-disappeared-pubs.html for more information.
