Looking over fields to the west of Dol-gûn-uchaf, with the Afon Wnion flowing behind a row of trees. Further away can be seen some of the roofs of Dolgellau, with the northern foothills of Cader Idris* forming a backdrop to the town. *Note: Maps tend to spell it "Cadair" while locals spell it "Cader" - and it's their mountain, so I'll go along with them!
