Looking along Portland Street towards its junction with Piccadilly, at about 1am on a Sunday morning. The Manchester Metrolink tram lines can be seen in the foreground crossing from Piccadilly Gardens station (to the left) into Aytoun Street. Further on a taxi is picking up a crowd of late night revellers.
