Looking towards Teme Bridge, visible beyond the fence in the middle of the photo. This is one of three bridges carrying the Elan Valley Aqueduct across the River Teme, the other two being near Downton-on-the-Rock (see Image) and south of Leintwardine (see Image). The aqueduct was built around the turn of the 19th/20th centuries to carry water from the Elan Valley reservoirs in mid Wales to Birmingham. In the distance, just below the trees on the skyline, can be seen the valve house at North Farm (see Image).
