Rampant creeper growth is threatening to obscure the nameboard of this pub at the junction of Lock Road with Station Road. Formerly known as the Marlow Hotel, the pub has now been re-branded in memory of an old steam engine known by the name of the Marlow Donkey, (and latterly of the train itself), that was used on the former GWR branch line railway to Marlow up to 1935.
