Viewed from a traffic island, the yellow road signs on both sides of the road read “advance notice, from 14/3/16 to 18/3/16 for pipe laying works; contact Affinity Water (on) 0845 782 3333 (24 hr)”. The road has been narrowed to one lane where the work is being carried out.
