Originally two separate shops that were merged in 1904 by the drapers Lea & Sons who also expanded into neighbouring Image Number 61 had originally been a stationers then bookseller before becoming a milliners. It returned to stationery in the 1870s was a novelty store in the 1890s before brief tenures as a mantle maker and frame maker. Number 64 was a butcher for 16 years, a corset maker for twelve, and what looks like a repository for funerals for 26.
