Uffculme : Coldharbour Mill - Chimney

At 38.4 metres this is the second chimney at the site. The lower section is double skinned to give it strength and stability. Bonding the brickwork with lime mortar gives it flexibility enabling it to withstand high winds. Two lightning conductors have been fitted.
