One in a sequence of shots. For next see Image] and Image For opposite direction shots see Image] and Image The A1031 coast road, horizontal on the shot, follows the line of an old sea bank along this stretch (Sea Dyke Way), hence Land Dike Drain. Keyholme Lane leads (down the shot) across the former marshes to the present sea wall. The light patches in the foreground are probably related to salt production, a thriving industry here until the 1600's.
