Viewed across Woodlands Road. In March 2016, the Town Council website states that Loughor Welfare Hall is in excellent order and boasts one of the finest dance floors in Wales. Dancing takes place here on Saturday evenings. Senior citizens can attend Age Concern gatherings on Tuesday afternoons and Loughor OAPs on Wednesdays. Those with energy to spare can try Health Force for the over 50s on Thursday mornings. There is also Pilates on Tuesday evenings. The Karate club welcomes new members of all ages to its meetings held here every Tuesday and Thursday. There is also a Kung Fu Class on Monday evenings. Labour Party meetings are held here on the last Monday in each month. For those interested in woodworking the Welsh Wood Crafts Group holds classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. On Wednesday evening Weight Watchers meet here. Saturday afternoon is a very popular time for children's birthday parties. There is Short Mat Bowls on Monday mornings and Thursday evenings.
