In this case the signals have been erected to control the flow of traffic on the Kingsway, which is Dundee's ring road and the main A90 from Edinburgh to Aberdeen. I always think that putting lights on a roundabout indicates a failure of the concept of a roundabout. They might as well have put lights at an ordinary crossroads from the outset. In the background is a new ASDA supermarket.
