Croydon's oldest pub, situated in the bustle of Surrey Street market. Central oval bar, eating and drinking areas around it, back and right; games machine, TV (low volume), garden. Listed in the 2016 Good Beer Guide. Cask ales on offer at my visit: Truman's Blindwide, Young's Bitter, Special.
