The recent acquisition by the Overground of the ex-Great Eastern branches to Chingford, Cheshunt and Enfield Town means that London Freedom Pass holders can now travel to these destinations free of charge. However, you must always travel on an Overground train: the pass is not valid on Abellio services. The same applies at Shenfield, where the TfL service is not part of the Overground, but is branded as 'TfL Rail', and will eventually become part of Crossrail.
