Not such a common sight in the 21st century - but it would have been an everyday occurrence in Tring a hundred years ago. Fifty years ago the building in the background, on the corner of Queen Street, was the home and surgery of Dr Newton. The lone doctor, who has his surgery in his own house, is also a thing of the past.
