This attractive village pub consists of three buildings dating back to the early 18th century. In the late 1840s, the middle cottage, owned by Jonathan Dyer, became a beer house while the building to the left was used by Quakers as a Friends Meeting House. The first recorded use of the name Cricketers was on the 1871 census.
