Benchmark on Whin House Sike Bridge

I say bridge, but it only has a parapet on the north side. The southside is just a grate, so this small stream probably drops into a stone lined culvert. The BM has been here since at least 1857 because it is shown on the OS Map of that date. Its spot height is given as 272.8' ASL.
