Planning permission has been approved, with conditions, by Folkestone and Hythe District Council under application number Y13/0463/SH for the “erection of a three storey building comprising of 4 ground floor office units (Classes A2 & B1a) and 4 one bedroom flats in the upper floors, following demolition of the existing building”. The location was described as land (at the) rear (of) 6 to 8 Bank Street (known locally as Kent Cottage). After completion, the building opened as Image
