Breakwater Country Park from Holyhead Mountain

Situated on the site of a former quarry where stone was quarried to provide stone for the building of the Holyhead Breakwater. The Breakwater was completed in 1875. After the Breakwater was constructed, the Quarry became a Brickworks.
