Byrness Youth Hostel

Byrness village was built to house foresters in the 1950s. The youth hostel occupies two terraced houses and is the last overnight stay before the last and longest day of the Pennine Way. Byrness is yet another Pennine Way hostel earmarked for closure - see also Image and Image
