This temporary pitch was erected on the plaza outside the BBC's Quay House building at MediaCityUK to accommodate "Battle of the Five-A-Sides", a 57 hour marathon of non-stop football to raise money for the Sport Relief charity. The match, between teams representing BBC 5 live and Match of the Day started on Thursday morning and ended on Saturday evening by which time, £370592 had been raised for the charity (http://www.bbc.co.uk/events/e8gv2m/live/cn9mxj BBC Sport). About 1000 people played 30 minutes each alongside BBC pundits Robbie Savage and Alan Shearer.
