Taken from underneath the bypass bridge, looking south. The River Medina suddenly appears from "nowhere". In fact it flows in from underneath the quay, under the bench and shrub on the left, having been culvert-ed through the outskirts of Newport. The branch to the right is a tributary from Carisbrooke.
