The east window contains early glass by Morris and dates from 1865. It was designed by Burne-Jones and Morris and consists of figures on largely clear glass. Many of the designs are re-used from other windows. The window consists of a central crucifixion with an annunciation panel by Byrne-Jones below. The left hand light depicts St Peter (possibly a self-portrait of Morris), St Stephen (with stones) and St Mary Magdalene. The right hand light shows St Paul, St James the Greater, and Martha, with keys and raised apron. The window is dedicated to James Thorpe of Coddington Hall.
