A prefabricated house developed following WW2. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airey_house This group is largely in original condition. Deterioration of the concrete means that modernisation is usually essential to be able to obtain a mortgage on this type of house. Some have been improved, but most are still at least externally in original condition.
