Stunning Panoramic views from Down at the farm, a children's farm experience and activity centre. It is a real working farm located in 20-acres of beautiful rural County Durham countryside close to Houghton-le-spring - just a few minutes away from Sunderland, Durham, Washington and Newcastle. The location shows an amazing panoramic view to the North/North East across Wearside and Tyneside with Cleadon Chimney close to the coast and just visible in the distance are the Cheviot Hills some 45 miles away! The picture shows a range of farm and rare breed animals in front of the two Indian tepees which run interactive farm and animal based educational and informative learning experiences for children. The site is located about a mile north-north west of the kart racing circuit at Warden Law Image on the other side of the hill just off the A690 road The site has its own web site at: http://www.downatthefarm.co.uk
