Looking across Station Road at the north west end of the former Post Office sorting office. In 2010 the building was being redeveloped by Watkin Jones Housing whilst just retaining the outer walls. The narrow road on this side of the building is Car Street, possibly so-called because the tram cars used to go down there to the depot.
