A different aspect of the pond in Image from almost the same position. The pond and its marshy margins is part of the Valentec Nature Reserve, a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation. The pond is not open to the public. The pond appears to be man-made, resulting from construction of a new road in the last quarter of the last century
