Compared with Image, but seen from another angle in Julian Road, the roof behind the new extension is being dismantled. Planning permission has been approved, with conditions, by Folkestone and Hythe District Council under application number Y14/0834/SH for the “change of use and conversion of the former residential care home into 9 self-contained flats, including the erection of a rear extension and front glazed entrance porch, following the removal of existing rear extensions and fire escapes, together with other external alterations to the building”.
