Originally built in 1877 (Image]) by the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway to carry the Manchester Victoria to Bury railway line, the bridge is now used by the Metrolink tramway which took over the route in 1992. The manufactures are shown as Pitts & Binner of Stanningley near Leeds (Image])
