Class 37 locomotives have been hauling additional trains on the coastal line since May 2015. This particular train, seen departing for Carlisle, had a class 37 at either end of the four carriage train. The rear carriage had several rail drivers, cruising up and down the line, on a day off. To the right of picture, lies the rebuilt Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway workshop; completed in 2015, following the major fire of late 2012.
