Capital Citybus 407, a Dennis Arrow/Northern Counties Palatine II, arrives at Chingford station from Barking on route 179. This is why I was here; I'd never been on an Arrow before. The Arrow was basically a shortened version of the Lance single deck chassis, and so the floor was higher towards the rear of the lower deck than is usual on a double decker. Capital Citybus was the biggest customer for the Arrow (buying the majority of this rather niche model), following this batch with two lots with East Lancs Pyoneer bodywork.
