An old ale house for navvies working on the Bradway Tunnel. It was extended along the line of cottages in the 1980s, but it had recently fallen on hard times. New licensees took over for 2016 and it reopened in February after a revamp. The awning and wooden decking are new, the decking over laying the existing stone terrace.
