This historic building was once The New Inn on the junction of Union Street and The Market Place, Wisbech. The passage way under the building leads to The New Inn Yard. It is named on the 1853 map of Wisbech, see https://media.geograph.org.uk/view.php?id=2676 and was still trading in the late 1950 according to this report http://wisbech.ccan.co.uk/content/catalogue_item/wisbech-new-landlord-at-the-new-inn-in-union-street. It is now a shop and flats. According to AA Oldham's book it dates back to 1651 and was originally called The Black Bull and then The Three Tuns before it became The New Inn
