View northward from Battersea Rise bridge, towards Clapham Junction and Waterloo. This is the main (11.00) portion (of four) of the 'ACE' on a Summer Saturday, heading for Ilfracombe (arr. 16.38) and Torrington (16.30). The locomotive is rebuilt Bulleid 'Merchant Navy' class 4-6-2 No. 35015 'Rotterdam Lloyd', built as No. 21C15 3/45, renumbered 35015 by BR, rebuilt 6/58, withdrawn 2/64 and scrapped.
