Looking east towards Union Street and the City Centre. Stonehouse Social Club on the left and just past Market Street is the Queens Hotel. Further down the street below the second Courage Brewery sign is the United Services a former scrumpy house. The wall on the right is the boundary of the Regent Brewery. In the distance the block of flats (red brick) is the only building left in this view as everything else has been demolished for road widening. Photo date 4th May 1981.
