Almshouses designed in 1834 by C.R. Cockerell and completed in 1842 by James Noble, in brick with stone dressings. The Dutch-style gables are a popular feature in east Suffolk. Viewed from Bridgewood Road above the roofs of 1970s housing on the site of former orchards.
