Auldtown of Netherdale

The long steading, half concealed by the lie of the land, looks like rather a fine example, with its little cottage presumably surmounting an archway towards the south end of the range. The modern maps just name it Auldtown, but the 1871 six-inch map has Oldtown of Netherdale.
