Viewed from the narrow path past the north side of St Mary's Church Rogiet, part of the Rectorial Benefice of Caldicot in the Church in Wales Diocese of Monmouth. The church dates from the early 13th century or perhaps late 12th century, with later alterations. The church is mentioned as being in the deanery of Lower Gwent in the time of Henry, the Bishop of Llandaff from 1193 to 1218. The church was Grade II* listed in August 1955.
