A grade II listed building which is thought to date from the late 18th century. However it could possibly be a century or so earlier, as many buildings around here are timber framed but hidden by Georgian fronts, added in the 18th century to make them appear in the latest fashion. This building was originally a house but then became a shop and flat. In recent years the ground floor was an Indian Restaurant called The Rajput. This business closed some months ago and a sign in the window says it has now been let.
