One of countless freight motive-power spread out in the Locomotive Yard serving Whitemoor Yard in filthy 'post-war' condition, is LNER class J17 No. 5535, recently renumbered from 8185, destined to survive as BR No. 65535 until 5/58; it was built on the GER as Holden design J16 No. 1185 in 12/1901.
