The site of the Catholic Church and Seminary at Corby Glen was surrounded with a sturdy stone wall, which is sadly in need of repair. The church closed in 2012, but little maintenance had been done while it was open. The wall does not retain anything: although the church and other buildings are raised up above the level of the road, the surrounding bank stops a couple of metres short of the wall so it is not particularly under stress.
