DOG745, a Leyland Olympian/Eastern Coach Works of PMT's Red Rider operation, has just arrived at Port Sunlight station from Birkenhead. PMT (Potteries Motor Traction) ended up running buses on the Wirral by purchasing some of the remnants of the once mighty Crosville. They retained the Crosville name for services around Chester, but reused the Red Rider fleetname (previously used for services around Wolverhampton in the late 1980s) for buses based at Rock Ferry and Moreton depots. By this time, PMT was part of FirstGroup, who eventually sold the ex Crosville operations to Stagecoach.
