Electric unit 323 209 is arriving at platform 2. It was probably working a Birmingham New Street to Liverpool Lime Street service, which I think these units were operating at the time, but it may have been working the rather short lived Wolverhampton to Walsall direct service (later extended to Wellington, which necessitated use of diesel units instead).
