539, a Volvo B6LE/Wright Crusader of the very recently renamed Travel West Midlands, lays over in the Gospel Lane/Lakey Lane junction that buses used to turn at Gospel Oak. The bus, one of 183 such dreadful machines TWM bought in the late 1990s, was only two or three months old at this point, and the 32 had only just been extended here from Acock's Green in connection with the introduction of these buses. It is not connected with the old 32, which once served this area on a one way loop (the 31 went the other way round, but by this time was a straightforward out and back route that also terminated here).
