This building was once The Railway Tavern on the junction of Queens Road and Victoria Road, Wisbech. It was no longer documented as still trading in the 1992 CAMRA guide and probably closed a few years before then. The photographer remembers this building being a pub before it was closed and converted into a domestic dwelling. The Engineers Tavern was 20 metres to the right.
