"1000 Millennium cast iron mileposts were funded by the Royal Bank of Scotland to mark the creation of the National Cycle Network, and sited along cycle routes through the UK." This one, which appears to have received an unsympathetic coat of yellow paint, is sited beside the Trans Pennine Trail at Bishopthorpe.
