This view is from Thames Barrier Park on the Silvertown side of the River Thames. Thames Barrier Park was built on what was one of the country's most polluted sites, the former P R Chemicals factory. Described as 'the first riverside park to be built in London for over 50 years' the Thames Barrier Park was opened in 2000.
