Holme Valley Memorial Hospital: the cross

The memorial cross was unveiled in July 1921 by Colonel HR Headlam. Conservation and repair work was carried out in 2007, funded by the War Memorials Trust. The cross and the memorial (list of names) behind it were listed grade 2 (list entry 1428327) in 2015 as part of World War 1 centenary commemorations.
