One of the last 6A trams, number 245, at Bowring Park terminus on the last day. This tram still exists, having been preserved by the National Museums, Liverpool. After 6 years of renovation by the skilled volunteers from Merseyside Tramway Preservation Society it runs on the Birkenhead Heritage Tramway, which links Wirral Transport Museum to Woodside Ferry Terminal. http://www.liverpoolmuseums.org.uk/mol/collections/transport/tramcar-245.aspx
