This pub has closed twice since the millennium, but re-opened this week under new management, and I was treated to an excellent dish of liver and bacon for lunch. The new landlord moved here from the successful Fortescue Arms at Billingborough which seems brave given the uncertain history of this place, but he obviously knows his business and had put on a good range of well-thought of beers.
