Viewed across the A464 Park Street. Access to Silvermere Mews is from the street named Silvermere Park, out of shot on the left. The building was formerly used as stables. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4793859 to a closer view of the weather vane. Chambers Dictionary states that this meaning of mews (stables converted to housing) dates from the time when the keeping of hawks at the King's Mews at Charing Cross was succeeded by horses.
